Offering Financial Resources to Those in Need

The Minnesota 100 Club pays a death benefit of up to $17,500 to surviving families of Minnesota’s city, state, and federal public safety officers, firefighters, EMS/EMT’s and correctional officers who are seriously injured or killed in the line of duty. In addition, assistance for funeral costs may also be included as a death benefit for First Responders who are killed in the line of duty in the Twin Cities area. First Responder’s and Correctional Officers may receive additional assistance on a case-by-case determination

Assistance for Catastrophic Injuries

First Responder’s and Correction Officers who are catastrophically injured in the line of duty and have been unable to work for a minimum of 30 days may apply for financial assistance, which will be reviewed by the Benefits Committee on a case by case based.

MN-100 receives confirmation of line-of-duty injury or death
Board meets to determine level of assistance
Typically, within 48-hours, financial assistance is donated to family
Recipients may apply for additional benefits at any time in the future.
